They are back for another great tour in 2008. Don't miss your chance to see them live. This could be there last tour together. Sting says there won't be an album tour or anything after this tour is over. Can you live with yourself if you miss their only tour? I think not so start looking for the closest venue and scope out some great seats.

They started off with their own rock style mixing in portions of jazz, reggae & pop. Synchronicity made them a super group in the 80s selling 8 million copies in the US alone.

Reunion & Pending Break Up

The Police were a smash at the 2007 Grammys. This was the band's first public performance since their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. They opened the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, stating, "We are The Police and we are back" before launching into "Roxanne."

On 2-12-7, they held rehearsals and a press conference for the media at The Whisky a Go Go in L.A., where they confirmed the world tour and announced that the opening act for the North American leg of the tour would be Fiction Plane, a pop-rock band from England featuring lead singer Joe Sumner, the son of Sting.

Sting released this to the press in February 2008 "There will be no new album, no big new tour, once we're done with our reunion tour, that's it for the Police".
